American competitive eater Miki Sudo consumed 501 chicken wings in 10 minutes at a Wing Bowl event in Buffalo in September 2023, setting a world record. Sudo is one of the top-ranked eaters regardless of gender, also holding the most wins in the women's division of Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest. The 501 wings weigh over 15 kg in total, and consuming them in 10 minutes pushes jaw endurance and stomach-expansion capacity to their absolute limits.
