Valery Rozov
러시아
Russian BASE jumper Valery Rozov leapt from a point at 7,700 meters on the north face of Cho Oyu (8,201 m) in the Himalayas in October 2016, setting the record for the highest-altitude BASE jump. At that elevation oxygen levels are roughly one-third of sea level, and temperatures plunge below -40 degrees C. Wearing a wingsuit, Rozov glided for approximately 90 seconds before deploying his parachute. Tragically, Rozov died during another BASE jump in November 2017, leaving this record as part of his legacy.
