Mongolia
The speed cards world record set by Mongolia's Sijir-Erdene Bat-Enkh at the 2023 World Memory Championships. He perfectly memorized the order of a single shuffled deck of 52 cards in just 12.74 seconds -- roughly 0.24 seconds per card. Factoring in the physical time needed to flip each card, this means he was essentially memorizing them on sight. Speed cards is often called the showpiece event of memory sports and draws the most spectator attention at competitions.
