Georgian weightlifter Lasha Talakhadze set the world record at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics in the men's +109kg class with a 222kg snatch, 262kg clean and jerk, and 484kg total. Talakhadze is a two-time Olympic champion (2016 Rio, 2021 Tokyo) and one of the most dominant super-heavyweight lifters in history. A 484kg total is roughly four times his body weight and represents the outer boundary of what a human can hoist overhead.
