American Clive Silvernail completed 90 clap push-ups in two minutes on January 2020 in Somerset, earning a Guinness World Record. Unlike standard push-ups, clap push-ups require explosive upper-body power to push off the ground, clap in mid-air, and land back in position -- all in rapid succession. Averaging 0.75 reps per second, he completed one clap push-up approximately every 1.3 seconds for two straight minutes.
